Rafiki Village Project is recruiting new board members

Want to make a difference in the world?  Have a few hours a month to volunteer for a worthy cause? The Rafiki Village Project (www.rafikivp.org) is recruiting two new board members. Rafiki Village Project recently celebrated its second anniversary.  They completed numerous projects already and have many more planned for the next few years. If you have an interest in small-scale international development and/or familiarity with Tanzania, Swahili, education or medicine they would love to have you! In addition to four two-hour meetings annually, board members are asked to commit to several hours per month to work on a project in their area of interest.  Specific areas Rafiki Village Project needs help with include fundraising, grant writing, social media expertise, web development, development research, and public speaking.  Minimum one year commitment.  Please contact David Newman for more information – 503-804-5701 / [email protected]
