2024 BLD PNW Conference: Progress on Purpose

June 7 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

BLD (B Corp Leadership Development) is an all-day conference intended to strengthen and support the B Corp movement. BLD events provide an avenue for employees of Certified B Corps and others interested in the movement to network, collaborate, and share best practices for business success and maximum positive impact.

BLD PNW 2024: Progress on Purpose
Presented by Straightaway Cocktails

Leftbank Annex in Portland, Oregon

June 7, 2024

The theme for this year’s BLD PNW conference is Progress on Purpose. We’ll host conversations and workshops that recenter our “why” and our “how,” emphasizing that progress only has meaning through common understanding and shared purpose. We’ll celebrate the growing impact and collaboration among local B Corps as a model for what’s possible, and we’ll hold space for some challenging conversations where our movement is very much a “work in progress.”

Whether you are new to the movement, a longtime ally, or simply curious and supportive or purpose driven business, we invite you to join us at Leftbank Annex on June 7.

While the majority of attendees are employees of Certified B Corps, we also welcome companies actively working on their BIA, registered Benefit Companies and Social Purpose Companies, nonprofits, public sector organizations, students and academics, and other businesses aspiring to increase their social and environmental impact.

We especially encourage leaders and changemakers from underrepresented groups to join us at BLD PNW. We also have a reduced rate for nonprofit employee and student attendees. Please reach out to us at [email protected] with questions.

* This subsidized registration level is for members of the B community with historical or institutional barriers to access or who may be precluded from attending due to ticket cost. These include (but are not limited to) individuals who live on a fixed income or experience ongoing financial hardship, individuals living with a disability or impairment, students, and military veterans. Registration at this level is also encouraged for BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals. We are only able to offer a limited number of these tickets and appreciate the community holding space accordingly.
