WorldOregon is pleased to host the Diplomacy Begins Here Regional Summit and Learning Lab in Portland, Oregon, in partnership with Global Ties U.S. and the Office of International Visitors at the U.S. Department of State.

Open to the general public, the Diplomacy Begins Here Regional Summit, taking place Thursday, October 13 at the World Forestry Center, will focus on “Bridging Citizen Engagement and Environmental Action.”

For members of the Global Ties Network*, the Learning Lab on Friday, October 14, will provide a space for inspiring workshops, meaningful dialogue, and networking opportunities. The Learning Lab will be held at Columbia Sportswear’s Lillehammer Events Center.
