Letter Writing Workshop 6/2/21 5pm PST

The Fund for Global Health team from Oregon invites you to join our interactive letter writing workshop! We will show you how to write an effective letter to Senator Merkley’s staff encouraging the Senator to support robust primary healthcare funding as part of his position on the Senate State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee. The workshop will walk through step-by-step each part of an effective letter and give you time to draft your letter and send it off by the end of the session. 

Senator Merkley has already proposed a huge increase in primary healthcare funding through the disaster and migration/refugee assistance accounts meaning that Merkley is in a key position to become a champion for global health initiatives and we want to make sure he knows that Oregonians want him to fight for global health! This your chance to have your voice heard. Whether it’s the interest of your own organization, your own personal beliefs, or just a general interest in humanitarian causes – we want the Senator to hear from you!
