June B Learning: Mental Health in the Workplace

May was Mental Health Awareness Month and it’s important for the business community and B Corps to understand the importance of mental health at work.

For our June B Learning event, we will be exploring how mental health shows up at work and how businesses can support their staff’s mental wellness.

ZaDora will provide a brief overview of common mental health challenges that present in the workplace, such as stress, depression and anxiety and how employers can support their employees. She will engage employers in dialogue regarding how they can collaborate with employees to create a work environment and culture that recognizes the importance of mental wellness and demonstrates that through their actions . She will discuss the importance and benefits of prioritizing employees’ mental health and wellness. She will also discuss burnout and provide self-care strategies to prevent and combat burnout, covid fatigue and mental exhaustions. She will engage attendees in body-based grounding exercises for overriding anxiety, emotional distress while in the workplace.
