Perfecting Your Pitch (not hosted by GlobalPDX)

Join us for a workshop by nationally known consultant, author, and Washington County resident Tom Wilson of Campbell & Company.

The focus of this training is teaching nonprofit teams how to prepare and communicate a concise and compelling message to their own donors to secure funding. All nonprofits who depend on donors to fund their work are invited to attend.

We recommend participants to bring a team of 2 (minimum) – 4 (maximum) people including your Executive Director, Development staff, Communications & Marketing staff, and/or board members. 

Attendees are expected to come prepared with a draft 10-minute pitch about a project at your organization which you will work on during the training.

Schedule:
12:30-2:30 pm training, tips and practice with your peers
2:30-3:30 pm: Four teams will be asked in advance to present their pitch in front of the entire group for constructive criticism and cheers.

Cost  (per team):
$0 – Organizations with no paid staff
$40 – Organizations with paid staff
