This year we are excited to bring our annual benefit to you in the comfort and safety of your own home. Save the date for an online virtual Zoom benefit on October 17th from 2-2:45pm. We will look back on highlights from this year, review the impact of COVID and provide updates about the women and girls in QFE’s program, share plans for the coming season, and host a live Q&A so we can engage with your thoughts and questions. As always, we highly value the annual benefit as a time to connect with our supporters and we want this year to accomplish that purpose just as well, even though we are online.

In the place of the silent auction that usually accompanies the benefit, we are hosting a week-long online auction that will begin on October 10th at 10 am and close shortly after the virtual benefit on October 17th at 4pm. All items will ship free the to the winning bidder from a COVID-free home.

Our goal for the benefit and auction is to close the funding gap for Kenya’s 2021 operating expenses. Due to difficulties brought on by COVID, flooding, and famine, the women and girls we serve are at risk. There are three key Kenyan staff members (the Program Director, Field Supervisor, and Girls’ House Matron) that are essential for the sustainability of the women and girls in our programs. Without these staff members, women and girls cannot access the care, support, and opportunities they need.
