With race and diversity being highlighted in our everyday lives (politics, movies, T.V., school, work) it is critical that parents are comfortable discussing and confronting racism. In this 4 hour workshop “Race & Racism: Talking with Children”.

We will cover…
*Our own biases and hesitations when talking about race and racism
*The role race and racism play in your family and community
*Terms: Racism, White Identity, Internalized Racism, Racial Pride (Just to name a few)
*What being a race ally REALLY means as a parent, or family member of a POC (person of color)
