Twende Solar is seeking solar installers, solar industry professionals and motivated volunteers of all skill levels to support our upcoming solar installation at Dignity Village June 8-10, 2023! Come join us for a collaborative weekend in support of renewable energy access for the residents of Dignity Village!
Dignity Village is a self-governed and self-funded community in Portland of about 60 people working to move from houselessness to permanent housing. Currently, the communities’ 48 tiny homes are without electricity for heat, cooling, charging and light. Over the past month our electrical team and volunteers have wired all the residents’ homes with electricity for a light switch and charging outlet. Now it’s time for solar!
