Tastes of the World: Porfirio Nicolas Báez López

Tastes of the World is a four-week long virtual cooking series. Starting on October 9, we will be joined by leaders from all over the globe who have visited us through international exchange programs. Each of these programs will be a Cook-Alongside-Me program with plenty of opportunity for Q&A.

We are kicking the series off with Porfirio Nicolas Báez López. Porfirio is the CEO and Founder of Green Depot, the Dominican Republics’ premiere biodegradable utensil distributor. He visited Oregon in 2018 as a participant of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) and is dedicated to creating an ecofriendlier environment in his country.
