WorldBoston‘s annual State of the State Department is designed as an occasion to consider this key instrument in the pursuit of U.S. national interests within a policy context. This year, they welcome Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, the State Department’s inaugural Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, who was recently named to this historic role by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Ambassador Abercrombie-Winstanley will be joined in conversation by Ambassador Nicholas Burns, the Roy and Barbara Goodman Family Professor of the Practice of Diplomacy and International Relations at the Harvard Kennedy School, and founder and Faculty Chair of its Future of Diplomacy Project.
