WorldOregon International Speaker Series “Bridging Perspectives” – Samantha Power

We are excited to share information about WorldOregon’s 2020 International Speaker Series at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland. The speakers include Samantha Power, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN speaking January 21 on The Education of An Idealist – What Can One Person Do?; GEN H.R. McMaster, former National Security Advisor, speaking February 19 on Geopolitics, Security, and the State of the World Today; Nadia Murad, the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, speaking March 4 on The Last Girl: My Story of Courage and Resilience; and Nicholas D. Kristof, a New York Times columnist from Oregon speaking May 14 on Global Leadership & the Humanitarian Challenge – 35 Years of Covering the World.

To buy tickets, go to the Portland’5 website, select the series, and then select your preferred seats, which start at $100. If you become a WorldOregon member first you will receive a 10% discount code for the following series ticket levels and prices (before discount): $500.00 Patron – Includes post-lecture receptions; $220.00 – $280.00 Orchestra Level Reserved; $165.00 Rear Orchestra/Mezzanine Level General Admission; and $100.00 Lower Balcony Level General Admission.
