Reflection and Planning for Mission-Driven Small Businesses

01/11/2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

$15

End of year business reviews tend to focus heavily on quantifiable “metrics” and achievements like revenue, profit, and units sold. While these metrics are clearly important for assessing the success of a small business they fall short of the critical reflection needed to successfully run a values-based business and to push both the business and yourself as an entrepreneur to the next level.

In this reflection and planning session, we’ll celebrate our wins, identify challenges and sticking points, and make an action plan for the year ahead. We’ll also dive into looking at some of the deeper things that might be going on, challenging assumptions, looking at how cultural norms could be showing up and affecting your work and wellbeing, and pushing our growth edges as we move forward into the next year. This planning session will center critical reflection in a supportive group with your peers and help you identify the opportunities to plan for a successful year ahead.

While the information and self-directed work are valuable, working through the activities in a facilitated supportive environment will help you effectively put the information into action. After this session you will have more awareness of strengths and areas of growth in your business, understand how values and cultural norms show up in your work, and be able to take the next steps toward building a values-based business plan.
