Deputy Director

The Deputy Director is a highly visible management position that works as part of Verde’s Director team to develop and execute Verde’s operations. This position will proactively identify and research solutions to support Verde’s staff and programs in advancing the organization’s mission, develop systems to support staff in achieving excellence in their programs, build external relationships, and integrate strategies to ensure operational continuity and an evolving organizational culture. A power-sharing member of Verde’s Director team, this position is both externally facing as well as internally facing. The Deputy Director serves as the organization’s chief executive in the absence of the Executive Director (ED). This position reports to the Executive Director and manages the program managers.
