SCRAP is searching for an energetic and outgoing individual to fill the role of Reuse Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a welcoming environment and receiving, processing and managing high quality and safe creative reuse materials for retail and online store.

SCRAP’s mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. To fulfill our mission, SCRAP operates a donation-based creative reuse store and education programming.

JOB SUMMARY

This position’s primary focus is digital sales (through the online store) and community engagement (through social media). This position is also well-trained in the reuse supply/retail and recovery/donations duties and will be scheduled in both capacities in any given week depending on the organization’s needs. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a welcoming environment and receiving, processing, and managing high quality and safe creative reuse materials for retail. This role will provide fast paced sorting and organization and/or physical support to the donations department and will be expected to engage in frequent heavy lifting over the course of a shift. The Site Executive Director or designee will determine the scheduling needs for maximum efficiency.
